About the Chambers

K.R. Sharma & Associates is a chambers practice based in New Delhi, founded on enrolment of Mr. K.R. Sharma with the Bar Council of Delhi in April 1997.

The chambers practise principally before the Supreme Court of India, with associated work before the High Court of Delhi and central tribunals at the seat in New Delhi. Mr. Sharma cleared the Advocate-on-Record examination of the Supreme Court of India in 2005.

The practice is conducted on the principles set out in the Bar Council of India Rules. All matters are taken on direct instructions or on reference from briefing counsel.

Petitions under Articles 32 and 226 of the Constitution of India. Public interest litigation, challenges to central and state legislation, and matters before the constitutional benches of the Supreme Court.

Matters arising out of the All India Services and Central Civil Services. Disciplinary proceedings, pension and gratuity, seniority and promotion, voluntary retirement, and central tribunal practice.

Civil Law

Civil appeals, special leave petitions, contractual disputes, and matters arising out of commercial agreements between parties in different jurisdictions.

Property Law

Title disputes, partition, succession matters under Hindu and Muslim personal law, and property matters arising in central capital territory.
